Table of Contents
1. Introduction
Welcome to Hit A Million! By using this website, making contributions, or contacting me, you're agreeing to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any of this stuff, then unfortunately you can't participate in the experiment.
2. NO REFUND POLICY
ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.
By contributing to Hit A Million, you understand and agree that:
- You're voluntarily donating to this social experiment
- You won't get any refunds, period
- You're not buying anything - no goods, services, or guarantees
- This isn't an investment and you shouldn't expect anything back
- Once you send money, it's final
- Any payment issues have to be dealt with through PayPal
Seriously: Only give what you can actually afford to lose.
3. Nature of the Experiment
Hit A Million is this social experiment where I'm testing whether a bunch of people can actually make someone a millionaire through voluntary donations. By participating, you get that:
- This is just an experiment - no guarantees anything will happen
- You're donating voluntarily, not investing
- You're not getting any goods, services, or returns
- We might not hit the $1,000,000 goal
- You're participating at your own risk
- Everything gets tracked publicly as part of the experiment
Experiment Goals
- See if people can actually work together online to do something crazy
- Show that crowdfunding can be completely transparent
- Find out how people behave when working toward a shared goal
- Create something interesting that people can watch in real-time
4. Donor Features and Digital Access
By contributing to Hit A Million, you may gain access to special features and digital experiences as part of the experiment. However, it's important to understand what you're actually getting:
4.1 Digital Features and Access
- Pixel Canvas Access: Contributors may receive pixels to draw on the collaborative canvas
- Exclusive Features: Access to certain site features that non-contributors don't have
- Interactive Elements: Ability to participate in experiment-related activities
- Community Participation: Enhanced ways to engage with the experiment
Important: What You're NOT Purchasing
- No Physical Goods: You are not purchasing any physical items or products
- No Intrinsic Value: Digital features have no monetary or intrinsic value
- No Ownership Rights: You don't own any part of the website or experiment
- No Investment: This is not an investment with expected returns
- No Guarantees: Features may change, be removed, or become unavailable
4.2 Feature Modifications and Availability
I reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time:
- Features may be added, changed, or discontinued without notice
- Access to features depends on the ongoing experiment
- Technical issues may temporarily or permanently affect feature availability
- No refunds will be provided if features change or become unavailable
Bottom Line: You're contributing to a social experiment and may receive access to fun digital features as a thank you. You're not buying anything with real-world value, and everything could change or disappear at any time. Only contribute what you can afford to lose.
5. Community Giveaways and Eligibility
As part of giving back to the community, I may conduct giveaways, surprise rewards, or other forms of sharing success with contributors. However:
- Anonymous contributors CAN participate in giveaways and community giving-back initiatives as long as they have an email address attached to their account
- Your contributions may show as "Anonymous" publicly, but I can still contact you through your account email for giveaway purposes
- To be eligible for any potential rewards, you must have a valid email address stored with your account
- I need a way to reach potential winners - your account email serves this purpose even if you contribute anonymously
- All giveaways are voluntary and at my discretion
- No guarantees about frequency, amounts, or methods of giving back
- Participation in any giveaway is subject to these terms and any specific giveaway rules
6. User Responsibilities
By participating, you agree to:
- Give accurate info when you contribute
- Use the website responsibly and legally
- Be respectful to other participants
- Not try to scam or cheat the system
